  • Lehrhaus 425 Washington Street Somerville, MA 02143 USA (map)

When tensions run high, true leadership means stepping into complexity — not avoiding it. Originally developed by Moving Traditions to empower young adults for activism and campus leadership, this flexible framework offers strategies that anyone can use to navigate polarized conversations with skill and confidence. In this highly interactive session, you’ll practice recognizing tensions, uncovering hidden common ground, and opening space for honest, dynamic dialogue. Whether you’re leading a discussion, organizing for change, or simply seeking to strengthen community ties, you’ll leave with actionable tools to foster connection across divides.
