Do I need to be Jewish?
Not at all. Lehrhaus welcomes everyone regardless of faith, denomination, or affiliation.
What if I'm brand new to Jewish learning?
Perfect. Our 1:1 learning guides meet you exactly where you are. No prerequisites, no experience needed.
What if I need to step away?
Membership is a relationship, not a contract. Monthly plans have no long-term commitment — you're welcome to pause or cancel whenever you need to, no questions asked.
How does annual billing work?
Pay for the year up front and get your 12th month free. That's $396/year for Learner+ (vs. $432 monthly) or $594/year for Co-Worker+ (vs. $648 monthly). You can switch between monthly and annual when your billing period renews.
Is my membership tax-deductible?
Because membership comes with so many tangible benefits — classes, co-working access, social events, and more — it is not tax-deductible. If you'd like to support Lehrhaus with a tax-deductible gift, please visit our donation page.
What's the $25 Tavern gift card?
A welcome gift. Sign up for Learner+ this month and we'll send you a $25 gift certificate for food and drink, redeemable at your next visit.
What are the co-working hours?
Lehrhaus is open for Co-Worker+ members Monday through Thursday, 9am–3pm, and Friday 9am–2pm. Co-working access is included for Co-Worker+ members; Learner+ members get one co-working day pass per month.
Can I try before I join?
Absolutely. Drop in any weekday for a free trial day — coffee and snacks included.

Yes! Members can bring in a guest for a limited time meeting (1-2 hours) without paying the day pass fee. If your guest plans to stay for longer or is here to co-work, we have a day pass for guests of members for $10 that can be purchased on site.

The complimentary ticket is your first initial, last name, 26 (ex: FRosenzwieg26). These can be used for yourself to attend two classes, or shared with a friend or partner to attend a class together.

Due to our kashrut certification, no outside food is allowed at Lehrhaus. You are welcome to bring your own water, sparkling water, or flavored seltzers that don’t contain added fruit. Additionally, there is water available, and coffee, tea and grain bowls available for purchase.

Yes, you are welcome to stay in the lounge while our staff gets ready for dinner service. Once we re-open at 4:30 PM, you may ask the host for a table.

We have limited outlets accessible at Lehrhaus; however, we have a bunch of power strips and extensions cords are you are more than welcome to use. Please see the day host for assistance.
